The majority of schools in remote
areas of Sri Lanka do not have
proper drinking water facilities.
Further, the lack of sanitation
facilities (i.e. toilet facilities)
for both the teachers as well as
students is a serious concern.
Some school buildings are in a state
of such dilapidation and the
situation has remained unnoticed to
such an extent we feel that a
tragedy is imminent as decayed roofs
can collapse on children at any
time.
We kindly invite you to help to
avoid this unthinkable tragedy and
make a donation to such schools
ensuring the safety and wellbeing of
the future generation of the nation. Your
compassion will help to make a
lasting impact on the lives of these
innocent children and you can offer
help in your name or in the name of
a deceased relative. If there is a
particular school of your choice
which you think needs support, we
are intact to provide the required
logistical support.
The relevant schools will be chosen
through the recommendations of the
Principal, the Zonal Education
Director, the Provincial Education
Director, site inspection,
photographs and follow up.
